Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy
Sunday, October 9th, 4:00 PM
Rose Theater in Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center

In recognition and celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the Columbus Citizens Foundation will add a significant event to the Columbus Celebration: a concert at Rose Theater in Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center on Sunday, October 9th, at 4:00 p.m. The concert will feature the Petruzzelli Theater Orchestra from Bari, which is comprised of seventy-five members accompanied by soprano Marina Shaguch, and tenor Massimiliano Pisapia. Maestro Alberto Veronesi, the Music Director of the Opera Orchestra of New York, will conduct the orchestra. The program will include an array of operatic classics by composers such as Rossini, Verdi, Puccini and Bellini.
